Senior Center as Assistant Cook but her real passion is Quilting. She began in 1970. Since the 75 year old started dabbling with picture quilts, she’s crafted more than 150 quilts featuring notable figures like Harriet Tubman, Oprah Winfrey, former President Obama as well as her friends and family.

Three of Brenda’s quilts were auctioned off at a Democratic dinner in Sussex County in April, rais-ing more than $700. The Quilt Diva pictured be-low is a self-portrait, Brenda said.
