Warm for the Winter Blankets on January 14th
Nanticoke Senior Center & Peninsula Home Care at Nanticoke is sponsoring this Warm for the Winter Blankets at the Center on January 14th from 2 to 6 pm. Donations of New Blankets can be made here or at 501 Health Services Drive in Seaford. Limit One Per Senior while supplies last.
Additional restrictions are intended to protect our Members and Staff as COVID-19 numbers climb. We will remain open as long as we can.
Lunch will continue to be served in our cafe. If you don't feel safe coming in, please contact the Center and a to-go order can be picked up during lunch. The gym remains open by appointment only. Come in and play cards, shoot pool, visit, but mask must remain on at all times.
There will be no exercise classes, line dancing or Bingo in the building. Please be safe, and know your Center is here for you.
45 Years of Senior Life Enhancement in Seaford, Delaware
Located at Hooper's Landing in Seaford, Delaware, Nanticoke Senior Center is a life enhancement facility serving the seniors of Seaford and surrounding communities.
Open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., the center is a nonprofit organization which offers members opportunities for socialization, relaxation, and learning. In addition, Nanticoke Senior Center strives to promote overall health and physical well-being by providing health-related services, nutritional programs, and numerous activities that help members to remain physically strong. OUR MISSION: We provide a place for members 50+ to meet and participate in leisure and educational activities that address their health, happiness and independence.
In addition to daily cleaning and room sanitizing before each activity, the Nanticoke Senior Center is using a sanitizing sprayer fogger gun throughout our facility. This product is being used in long term care facilities and other health care facilities to decrease the spread of COVID-19.
With all the extra cleaning, we still follow all state requirements.
