Homebound Meals

HOMEBOUND MEALS program provides balanced, hot meals to home bound persons. Some receive cold meals so that they will have food available in the evening or weekends also.

These meals are prepared in our commercial kitchen and delivered to eligible seniors. We are the "Hometown Provider" of home-delivered meals for the Seaford zip code.

We provide this service for Medicaid waiver clients as well as those who are "Private Pay" or who are paying themselves. Please speak to our outreach specialist to see how we can create a plan that works best for you or your loved one.
We deliver up to (7) nutritious meals a week. We deliver three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) to eligible individuals who live within the Seaford zip code. If you or someone you know is eligible for our Homebound Meal Program, call us at 629-4939.

We accept Medicaid & Private Insurance.

LITTLE BITS OF IMPORTANT UPDATES

    Help the Senior Center
The Harvest Moon Party returns on October 19, 2019. It’s the largest annual fundrais-ing event planned by both the Board of Directors and the Staff. Please attend.

Or, you can also help by donating a gift card. The cards will be used in a variety of ways in the silent auction. Cards from restaurants, movies, Amazon, Lowes, etc. are good choices. Purchasing local gift cards (Harbor House, Davellis, Open Cupboard, Sweet Serenity, Every Fiber, etc.) also helps support small businesses in our community.

If you can help by purchasing a gift card, please it off at the front desk. As al-ways, any contribution you make to NSC is tax deductible, and we will gladly give you a receipt. Most of the cards we use are $25, but we will happily
    accept other de-nominations too.

Thank you to those members that have already donated cards to past and future events, we appreciate your generosity.

    US Census 2020
What is a census and why is it important? Once a decade, the next Census is 2020. America comes together to count every resident in the United States. The Census provides the basis for reap-portioning Congressional seats, redistricting billions of dollars in federal funding to support your state, county, and community’s vital programs.

    Update Your Records
WE CAN’T REACH YOU if our records are not up to date. Maybe you discontinued your landline or have changed your email address, please let NSC know of these changes so we can get in touch with you if we need to.
